Charity #1
Designs for Dignity was chosen as one of our featured charities
Designs for Dignity is first and foremost a design organization. Their belief in how the environment has a tremendous impact on the experience and spirit of those in need fits well into our philosophy.

Their mission is to engage the design community and all of its resources to respond to the need that only they can meet. Our service grant recipients are non-profit organizations that directly serve marginalized and at-risk populations, including those who experience poverty, violence, addiction and discrimination. We award our service grants three times a year.

We also loved their Heart Homes Initiative helping individuals move from homelessness to homes. As part of their programmatic reach to offer design services to individuals that are utilizing services from one of their many non-profit partners. The goal is to provide quality donated furnishings and design services to those in need with the help of volunteer designers and product donations from designer’s clients' homes.

Charity #2
Citizens Lighthouse Community Land Trust of Evanston was chosen as our featured charities because plans to combine private home ownership with community ownership of land to create a supply of permanently affordable housing alternatives in Evanston. Specifically, CLCLT will own land through the acquisition of property as gifts or purchases on the open market using funds from public and private sources. They are working with us for both projects, Restoration of Spirit II and The Brown Street Project.
